SSC Multitasking Staff (SSC MTS ) exam is one the open competitive exam which is conducted by Staff Selection Commission in two main stages; Common Test and descriptive paper. After clearing these stages, the candidate will get selected for General Central Service Group āCā Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial posts in various Central Government Ministries/Departments/Offices, in different States/Union Territories. It is mandatory for the candidate to qualify both these stages of examination in order to make it to the merit list prepared by SSC prepared at the end. The examination of SSC MTS is conducted in 3 different levels: Paer-1, Paper-2 (Descriptive Test) & Paper-3 (Skill Test). Paper-1 is an online exam which is objective multiple choice question type. Paper-2 is a pen and paper mode of examination which includes a descriptive paper in English or any other language listed in the government policies. Paper-III is a skill test that needs to be taken as per candidate's convenience.
